So a few weeks ago we decided to do a glitter session. Except with no glitter lol it was pretty awesome and I think it is my new favorite photography session. I changed my umbrella with a smaller umbrella to get more drastic lighting and it came out beautiful. I will be offering glitter sessions like this from now on. I think they do better on darker backdrops. For this particular one I used a navy blue intuition backdrop. But plan on getting dark purples, pinks, ect. It will also look good on black.

So back to the no glitter. I used absolutely no glitter in this session and added everything in photoshop. So many times photographer make a mistake of using actual glitter. This can be so harmful to little ones as it can get in their eyes and you’ll be seeing glitter for days if not weeks or months lol. The mess is not worth it in my opinion. Glitter also does not show well in the camera if it’s not HUGE pieces of glitter or confetti. Not only that but there is literally no clean up. This session took all of 20 minutes and she had the time of her life. We played loud dancing music and just had fun with it.
